Ubisoft Removes Accidentally Released Mission From Far Cry 6
The Far Cry 6 update removes an accidentally released mission with Danny Trejo that was originally scheduled to arrive in December.
- The latest update for Far Cry 6 fixes a lot of bugs reported by players;
- The accidentally released unfinished mission with Danny Trejo, which was supposed to appear in December, has been removed.
Ubisoft has mistakenly released one of the missions to be included in the post-release extras for Far Cry 6. The mission, titled "Dani & Danny vs Everybody," was removed in today's patch and will return when it's completed (original plans mentionedDecember).
The DLC appeared on the servers of the French publisher by mistake. And while the developers fixed it fairly quickly, some players managed to complete the mission and boasted about it with screenshots and video footage.
Far Cry 6 update is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S, with a PC release coming soon. It adds new daily and weekly challenges and improves enemy spawn rates and gameplay fluidity. The official changelog also details a number of improvements to missions, photo mode and co-op.
In addition to Danny Trejo's mission, Ubisoft has scheduled guest appearances from Rambo and characters from Stranger Things, which, like the mission with "Machete", will be free. Paid DLCs will include returning antagonists from previous installments - Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed. We will also receive a remaster of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
A trailer released some time ago gives a small glimpse of the planned DLCs.
