Far Cry 6 PC System Requirements and New Trailer
Ubisoft has shared the system requirements for the upcoming Far Cry 6. We also got to see another trailer for the game.
We finally got to know the system requirements that we will have to meet before we can launch Far Cry 6. You can find detailed information on them below.
Far Cry 6 - minimum system requirements:
- OS: Windows 10 version 20H1 or later, 64-bit only
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 - 3.1 GHz or Intel i5-4460 - 3.2 GHz
- GPU: AMD RX 460 - 4 GB or NVIDIA GTX 960 - 4 GB
- RAM: 8 GB (dual channel mode)
- HDD space: 60 GB HDD (SSD recommended)
This configuration will enable us to play at 1080p and 30 fps.
Far Cry 6 - recommended system requirements:
- OS: Windows 10 version 20H1 or later, 64-bit only
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X - 3.8 GHz or Intel i7-7700 - 3.6 GHz
- GPU: AMD RX VEGA 64 - 8 GB or NVIDIA GTX 1080 - 8 GB
- RAM: 16 GB (dual-channel mode)
- HDD space: 60 GB HDD (SSD recommended)
This configuration will enable us to play at 1080p and 60 fps.
So it seems that Far Cry 6 will be available not only the owners of the latest PCs. In the case of both of the above variants, we are dealing with gameplay without Ray Tracing DirectX. In order to use it, we will need a PC that meets the minimum requirements listed below.

- OS: Windows 10 version 20H1 or later, 64-bit only
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - 3.7 GHz or Intel i5-10600 - 4.1 GHz
- GPU: AMD RX 6900 XT - 16 GB or NVIDIA RTX 3070 - 8 GB
- RAM: 16 GB (dual channel mode)
- HDD space: 60 GB HDD (SSD recommended) 37 GB for HD textures (optional)
This configuration will enable us to play at 1440p and 60 fps. Details on the requirements for other configurations can be found on Ubisoft's official website.
In addition, the studio presented another trailer of the upcoming title. It focuses on the technical aspects and presents what we can expect when we run ray tracing or additional options such as FidelityFX. The devs also boasted of the optimization of their title.
Far Cry 6 will be made available on October 7, this year, on Windows PC, Xbox One and Series S/X, as well as PS4 and PS5.
