- They decided to create a modification that significantly changes the gameplay.
- BF3: Reality Mod will debut in December.
Battlefield 3 has a chance for a second youth. A group of enthusiasts is working on a huge mod that will bring the gameplay closer to realistic tactical shooters. BF3: Reality Mod is inspired by a Battlefield 2 mod called Project Reality.
Fans gathered around Battlefield 3 prepared the first teaser and announced that the launch is set for December 2020. The work was aimed at making the battlefield more realistic and modifying the interface. Dedicated servers with higher tickrate will also be created, which will allow for smoother online experience.
The creation of BF3: Reality Mod would not have been possible if it wasn't for the Battlefield 3 modding platform called VU (Venice Unleshed) which has been developed for a long time. It enables us to run dedicated servers with better parameters than the official ones, adjusting settings that are not available in the official client.
Will BF3: Reality Mod bring together a large community of players? The chances for that are not small, as shown by the September launch of the tactical FPS Squad, which enjoys almost 90% positive feedback on Steam. The demand is hard to argue with.
