Fallout: London With Stunning Voice-acting Cast: Neil Newbon; A Plague Tale: Requiem and FF XVI Actors
In Fallout: London, an ambitious modification to Bethesda's RPG, we will hear many familiar voices, including Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3 or heroines from A Plaque Tale: Requiem and Final Fantasy XVI.
A huge modification for Fallout 4 is set to be released in just two months, taking us far from post-apocalyptic America. The Folon team, which includes fans of the Bethesda RPG series and video game enthusiasts, has released new info about the progress of their work and has provided details about their upcoming project set in England.
Famous names in the project
The details about dubbing in Fallout: London seems to be the most fascinating. Many well-known actors, including Neil Newbon, known primarily for his portrayal of Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3, will lend their voices to the mod. The actor received several awards for "playing" the bloodthirsty elf.
We will also have the opportunity to listen to Anna Demetriou, who voiced characters such as Sophia in A Plaque Tale: Requiem and Dorys in Final Fantasy XVI. Many other famous figures, such as streamers and YouTubers, also took part in the dubbing of Fallout: London, including Call Me Kevin and Squire.
The creators of the modification haven't disclosed all the actors' names yet, but they have revealed the faces of independent characters, who are voiced by the previously mentioned people. The dubbing segment begins at 5:25 in the video below.
Other details about the modification
Fallout: London will introduce a brand new storyline to Bethesda's post-apocalyptic game, along with a large map of the capital of England. You can see it at 1:04 of the above material from Team Folon. As one of the mod creators recalled, London will be split into multiple districts, which together contain over 3,700 levels (referred to as "cells" in the Fallout series).
Furthermore, in the game - the project's scale is so extensive that at times the devs themselves refer to it as such - there will be many diverse factions, such as the aristocratic Gendry, the Peaky Blinders-inspired Vagabonds, and the punk Pistols. Paul Warren will provide further information about them in the discussed material (7:10).
Fallout: London will also feature many collectibles, including different kinds of weapons and armor. Some of them can be downloaded as standalone DLCs for Fallout 4 from here.
The full version of the Fallout: London mod will be released on April 23 this year. In the near future, the creators, as they have done so far, will provide more materials and share interesting facts about the project.
