Fallout 76 - Update 12 Introduces First Raid and More
Even today, Fallout 76 will receive another major update. Patch number 12 will introduce, among others, the first raid, in which we will explore the secrets of Vault 94, and will bring a number of other changes.
At the end of July we informed that on August 20 Fallout 76 will be updated to bring you the first raid. Bethesda kept its word... at least in part. Today, PC players will be able to gather a team of up to four people to investigate the secrets of Vault 94 and win valuable prizes. However, owners of the console version must be patient for "a few days", during which the developers intend to make sure that no "significant problems" are detected on the PC.
Vault 94 will offer three tasks, changing every week, to be completed. Awards for their completion are not only experience points and caps, but also schematics needed to make powerful armour, crafting materials or even weapon elements. The devs will enable us to choose between three levels of difficulty; while the easiest gives us unlimited time to complete the mission, the higher are a race against time and the opponents will become tougher. Success will result in more experience points and better rewards. And what else will the latest update introduce?
On consoles, Updated 12 (1.2.2.9 to be precise) will have 7 GB, while on PC - 2 GB. After its installation, our base will be enhanced with display cases in which we will place selected objects to show them off to the whole world. Moreover, the devs will increase to 30 thousand the maximum number of caps that a character can keep in their pockets, and will also make the interactions with the environment require a longer press of a button (as until now it was easy to accidentally drink water or use a bed).
The Nuclear Winter mode has also been updated. After obtaining the already existing Perk Card we will receive a special ticket, which will entitle us to unlock another copy. In addition, the developers have leaned over the balance of weapons and gameplay items and fixed a number of bugs that are still crawling in the wilderness. Until they came into force, we can only hope that this time everything will work out, and the new patch will not follow the previous one and will not brake more than it repaired...
