Fan Project Fixes More Than 220 Flaws in Fallout 4
Nearly eight years after its release, Fallout 4 still has many problems. More than 220 of them are solved by a fan project called FATE Patch.
Bethesda games are not famous for their high level of refinement. Often, even after many years of patching, you can find a ton of bugs in them. The rescue came from the fans, who fix the games with mods. The latest example of this has become the modification called FATE Patch (FO4 Fixes And Technical Enhancements) for Fallout 4.
FO4 already has a major project of this type in the form of Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch, but despite the seven years that its developers have dedicated to this modification, it does not solve all the game's problems. FATE Patch represents a collection of fixes that so far have not been included in the Unofficial Patch. Thus, only the combination of both mods enables you to get rid of most bugs and shortcomings.
The scale of improvements is large. Creator of FATE Patch has combined in one project more than 220 fixes, prepared mainly by other developers. First, of course, he obtained permission from them to include these projects in his own mod.
In addition to bug fixes FATE Patch, among other things, restores many missing sound effects, improves the artificial intelligence of settlers and improves the character's movement system, as well as settlement building mechanics.
Recall that Fallout 4 was released in November 2015 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with versions for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 due out this year.
Bethesda is already busy with other projects, so we're unlikely to see major improvements to Fallout 4. Fortunately, fans do not intend to abandon the game and it will continue to see modifications for many years to come.
