Facebook Crash; Messenger and Instagram Not Working [UPDATED]
Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram are down. There was a global crash around 5:30 AM PT that has not been resolved as of yet.

Twitter reports that Facebook employee access cards have also stopped working. People cannot enter the building and those inside, on the other hand, cannot access some of the rooms.

Today there was a global crash of Facebook and its owned apps and services. Currently affected are WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, among others. At this point it is difficult to determine how long the difficulties will last. The Policy Communications Director at Facebook, Andy Stone, informed on Twitter that the administration is aware of the problems and is trying to solve them.
According to the data, which can be found on Downdetector, the crash began around 5:30 AM PT. Since then, internet users have had problems sending messages via WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. Facebook, meanwhile, is completely inaccessible from the browser.
