ETS2 Update 1.43 Open Beta; Check Out Upcoming Novelties
The open beta for Euro Truck Simulator 2 update 1.43 has been released. The full patch is expected to add, among other things, a new look for the city of Lyon and more routes for special deliveries.

- The open beta for update 1.43 to ETS2 has launched;
- The patch is expected to offer a number of new features, including additional routes for special deliveries.
The developers at SCS Software have been working relentlessly on Euro Truck Simulator 2. They are currently busy developing update 1.43, which will introduce a new look for the city of Lyon and additional routes for special deliveries, among other things. An open beta was launched on Friday for those interested in the patch.
To get access to test the update, you need to find the title in your library on Steam, right-click on it and open the Properties panel. There, under the Beta tab, select "Public Beta 1.43". Of course, it should be remembered that this is not a full version of the patch, so it does not offer all of its content and may be full of all kinds of errors.
Additionally, SCS Software presented the most important changes that we will see in the final version of the update. A lot of new features await us on the map of Europe. Another city will be refreshed - this time it's the French Lyon. It will get, among others, new roads and three real, characteristic buildings - Viaduc de Perrache, Musée des Confluences and Groupama Stadium.

Spain and Portugal, on the other hand, will get two new roads. The first will link the A-1 and A-2 motorways, while the second will start near the city of Sines and end in Seville. In addition, 35 landmarks will be built throughout Europe.
There will also be new routes for special deliveries. Their list looks as follows:
- Daugavpils - Rezekne
- Soria - Teruel
- Galati - Iasi
- Cagliari - Sassari
- Gothenburg - Helsinborg
- Brest - Rennes
- Bremen - Travemunde
- Warsaw - Katowice
In addition, a number of minor changes will be introduced to the game with the update. There will be, among others, the possibility to buy dump trucks and the sounds in the cabs will be improved. As for now, it is not known when exactly patch 1.43 will see the light of day.
