ETS2 Heart of Russia Screenshots Present Orthodox Churches

New screenshots from Heart of Russia were released on the official blog of Euro Truck Simulator 2, presenting eastern Orthodox churches, which we'll see during the game.

A new post dedicated to the Heart of Russia project, the upcoming expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, has been published on the official blog of SCS Software. The entry focuses on presenting the Orthodox churches that we will be able to admire in this expansion.

As the devs explain, religion is of great importance to the history and culture of Russia, so a lot of effort was put into making the places of worship look appropriately attractive. While driving through villages and towns we will regularly come across various cathedrals, churches and chapels. The entry is accompanied by a set of screenshots.

Recall that the expansion will cover only the European part of Russia, because the country is too large for the developers to adequately represent it in a single DLC.

As for now, we do not know when Euro Truck Simulator 2: Heart of Russia will launch. We expect the expansion to be released next year, but it's hard to judge how long we'll have to wait. However, the developers promise regular updates to inform about the progress. The previous blog post focused on the forests that we will find in this DLC.

While waiting for the expansion, you might want to check out the new version of ETS2: Project Japan

Finally, we want to mention that a new version (1.0.3) of Project Japan was recently released, which is one of the biggest mods for ETS2. The project enriches the game with a new map recreating modern Japan and its road rules, including left-hand traffic.
