Epic Games Store will reportedly continue giving away games in 2024. Although today the platform is preparing the last Christmas gift, its users can count on more games for free in the future.

This is not official information. Their source is netizen billbil-kun (via X/Twitter) - well known to gamers from previous leaks about EGS (and more). Dealabs' insider reports that Epic Games Store is expected to give away its next free game on January 11, which is the day the current giveaway ends (today we will learn the game crowning the Christmas giveaway).

This year's free game giveaway is set to begin with Sail Forth, an independent action game in which we explore wide waters and face various threats (though without the horror elements as in Sunless Sea). The next title (available from January 18-25) may be the retro-platformer LOVE by Free Wood studios, although billbil-kun stipulated that he has not yet obtained evidence to confirm this leak.

We remind you to be cautious about any leaks, even those from reliable sources. If DealLabs' information is true, there should soon be an official announcement from Epic Games regarding new games for free to users of the company's digital store. In the meantime, it remains to wait until later today, when the final item of the Christmas giveaway will be revealed - according to forecasts, it is expected to be the action adventure game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy 2021.
