The game is praised for its very satisfying gameplay, pleasant pixel art visuals and the possibility to play in co-op mode for up to four players.. Will Ember Knights come to PS4, PS5 and Xbox consoles
Currently Ember Knights can only be played on PC and Switch. The good news is that the game will come to consoles, or at least this is according to the words of the developer, who on August 18, 2022 wrote the following on the game's Discord channel:
"For the moment, we're only on PC via Steam. after we get through Early Access, we'll be adding consoles, including the PS4! and yes, we'll be looking at supporting crossplay."
Let's point out that the statement referred to the time when Ember Knights was still in Early Access. It is worth mentioning that the developer is not throwing words to the wind, because already on the day of the release of version 1.0 the game hit Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, however, it is not known when Ember Knights will hit PS4, PS5 and Xbox consoles. Since the game has already been completed, and it's been almost a year since the aforementioned announcement, it's possible that we'll see the ports relatively soon. But this is nothing certain. For the time being, we must be patient and await further official information.
Crossplay in Ember Knights
The availability of the game on the aforementioned consoles is an undoubted advantage, but equally important is the fact that crossplay has been confirmed so that players using different systems will be able to play with each other, so as a result it will be easier to find people to play together.
