Elden Ring's Final System Requirements Revealed
FromSoftware has announced the official system requirements for the PC version of Elden Ring. Official, I guess - because they coincide with the ones we wrote about on Friday, which were later removed.
On Friday, when we informed you about new gameplays from the final version of Elden Ring, we also reported about the minimum system requirements for the Pc version of the game. For some time they were shown on the game's tab on Steam, but on the same day they were removed. Today, however, FromSoftware finally announced the official requirements. To make things funnier, the minimum configuration needed to run the game is almost the same as the one we wrote about last week.
Elden Ring PC - minimum system requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4 GB VRAM / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 3 GB VRAM
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- DirectX: Version 12
- Operating System: Windows 10
- Disk space: 60 GB
Elden Ring PC - recommended requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 580 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 GB of VRAM
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- DirectX: Version 12
- Operating System: Windows 10 or 11
- Disk space: 60 GB
The level of absurdity of the whole situation is increased by the fact that yesterday identical requirements made rounds on the web (see screenshot below). Despite this, they were perceived as false. Apparently wrongly - well, unless the developers delete their today's entries and come back with them in two days.
Just to remind you, only 10 days are left until the release of Elden Ring. The game will launch on February 25th on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S.
