Elden Ring Players Race for Platinum Trophy - Steam vs PlayStation. We Gathered Newest Data
The average of 5 and 7 out of 100 Elden Ring players on Steam and PlayStation respectively have earned the platinum trophy. About one fourth players have beaten the hardest boss.
Oh, Elden Ring. This is where I could insert the table and finish the news, because the numbers speak for themselves. But let's look at them a little closer - for the third time - in the month and a half since the launch, 5,2% of Steam players and 6,9% of PlayStation gamers has got the platinum trophy (a set of 42 trophies) in FromSoftware's newest game. That's quite impressive

Easy platinum
Especially since Elden Ring is a rather difficult production - maybe not as difficult as Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne or the first Souls but it can be a real challenge. It is also quite long. HowLongToBeat.com shows that reaching one of the three endings takes an average player about 50 hours. Doing everything, on the other hand, takes between 117 and 122 hours.
In comparison - released a week earlier, relatively easy and taking half the time Horizon Forbidden West (will take you about 27 hours to complete, and about 85 hours to get the platinum) was "maxed out" by 7% of PlayStation players. However, keep in mind that this is a PS4 and PS5 exclusive, meaning that those who did everything in the game are part of the entire player base.
The results of Steam users are slightly less awe-inspiring. This may be due to the fact that the game has sold on PC the most copies of Hidetaka Miyazaki's and Co.'s game to date - at least in the European Union. It may also be that getting all achievements/trophies is more popular among the console players - especially on PlayStation. The full ending figures are shown in the table below.

Elden Ring has received mostly 10/10 from game joutnalists, which we shown on the graphic. Our review of the game - written by Giancarlo Saldana - can be found below.
Bosses in Elden Ring
And how does the bosses' extermination look like? Which of them gave players the most trouble? On PC, the Dracolich Fortissax, who has so far been defeated by "only" 22.2% of Steam users, and 20,9% of PS4 and PS5 players. The second place belongs to Malenia Blade of Miquella, an unbeatable fencer, considered by many to be the toughest opponent in Elden Ring Seh was defeated by 26,3% Steam users and 23,3% PSN players.
GIT GUD?
Both Dracolich Fortissax and Malenia are optional bosses - this means that you don't have to beat them to finish the game. Nevertheless, many people challenge them anyway.
Why does Malenia have such a bad reputation? There are several reasons. Firstly, the boss is very well hidden and the way to her is dangerous. Secondly, Malenia is quite an irritating opponent, because every blow she deals not only takes your life, but also heals her. Finally, the fight with her has two phases. However, all this makes the success taste all the better, right?
It is also worth noting how Steam users are doing better in almost every category. However, what matters the most is that everyone is playing Elden Ring at their own pace - and having fun.
This was FromSoftware's goal, after all. To create a Souls game for everyone. Did they succeed? Well, if Margit and Godrick are defeated by an average of 6-7 out of 10 players, then I guess you can say yes. No one's dropping the game because of Father Gascoigne from Bloodborne or Genichiro Ashina from Sekiro. Anyway, see for yourself.
