The hottest time of the year in every gamer’s calendar is here. E3 is the time for big announcements and hours of new video footage from highly-anticipated titles. For your convenience we’re featuring the most essential news from each day of the expo. Here’s day one:
Batman: A Telltale Games Series on first screenshots
Prior to the actual E3 briefing, some initial screenshots from Batman: A Telltale Games Series emerged, along with the cast of voice actors – Dark Knight is going to be voiced by Troy Baker (who starred Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins).
Battlefield 1
One of the hottest games in EA’s catalogue got a new action-packed trailer. Besides that, Battlefield 1 fans could enjoy a 1-hour long multiplayer gameplay live stream with YouTubers and celebrities.
Titanfall 2 gets a release date and new trailer
The sequel to Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall is going to include a full-fledged single player campaign, as featured in the new trailer. The other video shows off some multiplayer gameplay. Titanfall 2 is coming out on October 28, 2016.
Vampyr E3 trailer
DONTNOD Entertainment’s Vampyr has got a new trailer too. The video introduces us into the game’s dark story set in the early 20th-century London plagued by flu pandemic and vampires. It also gives a glimpse of some gory gameplay.
Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer
It’s not what the fans have been expecting, but there is a new trailer from Mass Effect: Andromeda with tiny bits of gameplay footage. Enjoy!
EA Originals program features Fe
At EA Play Electronic Arts announced they’re starting the EA Originals program, aimed to promote games from small developers. The first one is Fe, a charming action adventure game set in a mysterious forest, developed by the creators of Stick it to the Man!.
A look ahead at EA Star Wars games
A handful of news for Star Wars fans. The next Star Wars: Battlefront is going to be based on Star Wars Episode VII and up. Another project, Remedy Entertainment’s third-person action adventure, will be set in an unexplored era of the Star Wars universe. Moreover, Visceral’s action game was briefly showcased in a look ahead video:
The Walking Dead: Season Three first trailer – Clementine is back!
Telltale Games prepared a hot teaser for the third season of The Walking Dead series, revealed via IGN. It features fan-favorite Clementine, who’s now a bit older than when we last saw her (and missing a finger). The Walking Dead: Season Three is launching this fall.
Mafia III new trailer and gameplay footage
A brand new Mafia III E3 trailer has been released. There is also a special presentation made for IGN featuring 20 minutes of gameplay footage from the upcoming third installment in the popular open-world action game series.
Quake Champions announced
At their press conference, Bethesda announced Quake Champions for PC. The next installment in id Software’s cult first-person shooter series is going to be primarily focused on e-sport. More info about the game will be revealed at this year’s QuakeCon.

The next Prey reannounced
What we expected to be Prey 2 was today reannounced as a reboot of the franchise, simply called Prey. The next iteration of the first-person thriller is being developed by Arkane Studios, the creators of Dishonored. Prey is headed to PC, XONE, and PS4 and slated for release next year.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition coming to PS4, XONE, and PC
PS4 and XONE consoles are going to get their version of Skyrim on October 28, 2016. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition is going to offer enhanced graphics and fan-made mods. Those who own Steam PC Legendary Edition (or the original game plus all three expansions) will have Skyrim updated to Special Edition for free.
Fallout 4 to get three DLCs and HTC Vive support; Fallout Shelter to hit PC
Bethesda announced Fallout 4 is going to receive three expansions: Contraptions (coming out next week), Vault-tec (late this summer), and story-based Nuka World (scheduled for August). Coming up next year is the official VR support for HTC Vive.
In other Fallout news, Fallout Shelter is going to be ported to PC next month. Along with the PC version comes a new update featuring missions and active combat system.
Doom: Unto the Evil DLC revealed
The first DLC for Doom included in the Season Pass is called Unto the Evil, and it’s coming out this July. Before the end of summer the game will also get a couple of free updates, which will add 5 extra multiplayer modes in total as well as expand SnapMap functionality.
Dishonored II new gameplay video; Collector’s Edition revealed
Bethesda showcased a new trailer and a tasty bit of gameplay footage from Dishonored II, the upcoming sequel to Arkane Studios’ successful stealth action game.
