Dying Light Next-gen Patch for Xbox Series X/S Finally Available
Techland has released the new patch for Dying Light on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One X consoles as well. Just like on PS5 and PS4 two weeks earlier, the patch adds new graphic modes.
Two weeks ago, PlayStation 5 owners received new graphic options for Dying Light thanks to a new update. Today they were joined by players on Xbox Series X/S (and Xbox One X) consoles, on which Techland finally released the new patch to improve graphics.
Dying Light better on XSX and Xbox One X...
On weaker devices (i.e. XSS and XOneX) the patch enables us to run the first Dying Light in two new graphic modes. You can find them in the game's settings menu.
- Performance mode - 30 fps at Full HD resolution (which is the same as on the PlayStation 4 Pro).
- Quality Mode - 30 fps and target QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
...and Xbox Series X
Both of the above options are also available on the XSX, only that instead of 30 the game targets 60 frames per second. But if QHD resolution isn't enough, the Xbox Series X has also received a third graphic mode, which lets us play in 4K at the price of reducing the fps to 30.
