Here's Ray Tracing in Dying Light 2
The developers of Dying Light 2 prepared a new trailer, which shows how they will use ray tracing and 4K in their game. An official showcase of the title with new info about the gameplay is scheduled for this Thursday.
The release of Dying Light 2 is fast approaching. Techland has started a marketing campaign for the title some time ago. The trailer they just published (seen below) focuses on the technical side of the game, specifically on the support for the ray-tracing technology, which has been on the lips of all lovers of visual bells and whistles for over two years now. Ray-tracing will be available on both PCs and 9th-gen consoles, though the video focused exclusively on PCs with the latest Nvidia cards. GeForce-equipped PC owners will also benefit from DLSS, which enables us to upscale our screen resolution without massive performance drop and play in, let's say, full 4K.
Dying Light 2 is scheduled to appear in stores on December 7, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5. A new preview of the title is scheduled for August 26 to accompany the virtual edition of the gamescom trade fair, which starts this week.
