Dying Light 2 Relase Date Confirmed [UPDATED]
We found out the exact release date of Dying Light 2. It's all thanks to websites, which hurried to show the advertisement of the new game by Techland.
Update
Techland's presentation is now behind us. As part of it, the company confirmed that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be released on December 7. At the same time, pre-orders have started on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store). However, before you buy it, you should check the gameplay presentation provided by the developers.
Original message
Today at noon PT / 3 PM ET, the long awaited presentation of Dying Light 2 will take place, where - as many hope - we might find out the game's release date. At the moment it is almost certain due to the stumble of several websites. Everyeye.it (and allegedly VGC, Eurogamer and Twitch) published an advertisement for the second Dying Light with the release date set for December 7, 2021. To prove it, we have screenshots taken by internet users (via Reddit). The game was also spotted on the PlayStation Store, and Sony isn't in the habit of allowing pre-orders if the game doesn't have a release date listed.
Of course, one should be cautious with any unofficial information, but in this case it's hard to have more doubts about the reliability of sources. After all, this isn't another post by a would-be insider on Reddit or another 4chan, or even a website of a major online retailer with a provisional release date. If this isn't a belated (and extremely risqué) joke on the part of industry websites, then we're dealing with genuine marketing material and an equally genuine release date. Still, caution should be exercised, but thankfully we won't be waiting long for confirmation of this leak. Presentation of Dying Light 2 will be available on Techland's Twitch channel at noon PT / 3 PM ET.
