Flood of Gameplay Videos From Dying Light 2

A lot of new gameplay footage from Dying Light 2 has surfaced online, and this time we get a better look at the gameplay in Techland's upcoming work.

The web is overflowing with gameplay footage from the upcoming Dying Light 2 from Techland. We can finally take a closer look at the visuals, new mechanics, and improved parkour system. The published videos suggest that we will get more of the same.

Fortunately, everything indicates that the gameplay has also been improved, and jumping across buildings is even more fun than in the first installment. Several lucky users who had the opportunity to play Dying Light 2 also emphasize that the locations - in addition to looking really good - create more opportunities to use parkour and impressive exploration.

"The first thing that struck me in Dying Light 2is the world. In one, it was designed so that we could indulge our parkour fantasies, but I felt that it didn't have its own distinct visual style. This seems to have changed in the sequel, which takes place 20 years after the fall of society. (...) The game world is even more provocative for parkour stunts, while still exuding its own personality and character." - commented Mark Delaney at GameSpot.

The action of Dying Light 2 takes place in 2034, twenty years after the events shown in the first installment. The main character is Aiden Caldwell who traverses the post-apocalyptic wasteland and reaches the city of Villedor. There he gets entangled in a war for influence between rival factions. The novelty is to be less linear storyline - in the sequel, we'll be able to make decisions that will influence the course of the game.

The release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human is planned for February 4, 2022. The game will appear on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also be playable on Nintendo Switch via streaming.
