One of the games announced at The Game Awards turned out to be Dragonball Z: Sparking! ZERO, which is a fighting game based on the popular comic book and animated series.

It's worth mentioning that the project was announced back in March this year. At that time, however, no title was given and only a short teaser was shown. At The Game Awards, we were finally able to see what the gameplay will look like.

It is, in fact, the fourth installment of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series, three parts of which were released on the PlayStation 2. The Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft, the same team that developed the previous parts of the series, is responsible for the game.

Dragonball Z: Sparking! ZERO is headed for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, and for now the developers are not ready to give a planned release date.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was forgotten for sixteen long years (the third game was released in 2007), so its return should please many older fans.
