Update #1 (August 15)
BioWare was supposed to announce the release date of the RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard today, but it seems that it leaked online a few hours before the official announcement through a game advertisement (via DSOGaming.com). It informs that the fourth installment of the series will be released on October 31, 2024, on PC, PS5, and XSX/S. It's worth waiting for confirmation, but it seems like the damage has already been done.
Original message (August 14)
We will find out the release date of Dragon Age: The Veilguard on August 15th. The devs have presented us with a plan for the coming weeks via X, in which they will provide various details about the new installment of the popular RPG series.
Tomorrow, first and foremost, we will receive a new trailer along with the specific game release date. We'll need to wait until August 19 for the next update, when the developers will showcase the combat system and provide more details about the PC version.
Companions week will start on August 26th. The companions who will be with us during the adventure are likely to be discussed more thoroughly at that time. If fans have questions after watching The Veilguard on new materials, they will get a chance to find the answers on August 30th - on this day a Q&A session with the developers will be held on the game's Discord server.
On September 3, however, IGN will reveal exclusive gameplay, so a solid dose of new content is being prepared for all fans of BioWare studio's game. In addition to that, the developers have prepared more surprises for us in September, but they have not disclosed what they are at the moment.
It's worth adding that we have already received leaks related to the release date of the fourth part of Dragon Age. According to Jeff Grubb, the RPG is set to hit the market at the end of October. This would roughly coincide with the announcement of the game's artbook release, which, however, quickly disappeared from the net.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
