EA Seems to be Gearing Up for Full-fledged Dragon Age 4 Trailer
It's likely that it won't be long before we finally learn something solid about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. EA is said to be preparing up for the release of a trailer for the game.
So far, the developers of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf have been not ver eager on revealing information about the game. The first footage, released in 2020, was just a teaser and did not reveal many details. A slightly more recent video from last December only explained who the eponymous Fen'Harel is. However, it looks like we will finally see an official trailer for the fourth installment of Dragon Age in the near future.
A Reddit user known as thrayonlosa noticed that the Dragon Age Fandom Wiki has added some interesting fragments of conversations between people involved with the website. They show that Electronic Arts recently contacted the fandom in order for it to prepare for the placement of a trailer for Dreadwolf on the website. In addition, the Dragon Age Wiki is to be redesigned to be stylistically related to the fourth installment of the series - this, however, would take place closer to the game's release. Below we quote an excerpt from the Fandom conversation in question.
"EA contacted Fandom about a partnership and would like the wiki to host the Dreadwolf trailer on the main page as well as for Fandom to help redesign the wiki based on the new release closer to the release date. [...] the redesign typically just means creating new wiki themes with background images that support the new release. I couldn't say exactly what changes they'd [ EA - ed. note] move forward with, but it wouldn't affect the wiki content. It also wouldn't be permanent," Saunt3D wrote.
It's worth noting that the word "trailer", not "teaser", appears in the conversation between people involved in the website. So if indeed a new video from Dreadwolf is to be released, it would probably be longer, maybe even include gameplay footage. After all, we have not yet officially seen what the gameplay in the new game will look like, although there have been some leaks online. Perhaps we will also learn something about the game's release date.
The fact that we will soon get a trailer of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, is not official and does not have to turn out to be true at all (although June - the traditional date of the E3 trade show - would be a good opportunity to show it). What's even more suspicious is that the fragment of the conversation revealing the publisher's plans appeared on Dragon Age Wiki, but the trailer in question is still not there. Besides, neither EA nor Fandom has made an official announcement on the subject.
