Dr. Disrespect is Back, Starting Today on YouTube
Yesterday, the popular streamer Dr. Disrespect, which was permanently banned on Twitch more than a month ago, officially announced that he will return to live streaming today.
It's been over a month since the permanent banning of one of the most popular Twitch streamers - Dr. Disrespect (actually - Herschel Beahm IV). So far, no official reason for the ban has been revealed, and the whole thing has went completely silent for some time. In mid-July, the streamer, in an interview that appeared on PC Gamer, revealed that he still doesn't know the reasons for the ban, but it won't stop him from continuing his career.
At that time we did not know when and on which platform we will see Disrespect again, but yesterday the streamer personally announced that the first stream after his break will take place on YouTube. Waiting for it started on the same day (for the first hour there were over 300 thousand people on the stream), but officially "Doc"l appeared only today at noon PT.
It's also worth noting that on Dr. Disrespect's YouTube channel there is a possibility to give monthly support to the creator (it works in a similar way as a Twitch subscription). Thus, it can be expected that the streamer will stay longer on Google's website. Interestingly, esports journalist Rod Breslau reports that YouTube and Facebook Gaming did not want to (and do not intend to do so in the near future) sign a deal with Dr. Disrespect. He points out that the streamer has full right to conduct normal streams on the aforementioned websites.
