Doom 2 Gets New Level From John Romero; Proceeds Go to Victims of War in Ukraine
Video game industry legend John Romero has created a new level for 1994's Doom 2. Players can purchase it for five euros, with all proceeds going to charities helping victims of the war in Ukraine.
Many devteam have expressed tangible support for the victims of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The legendary co-creator of the Doom series, John Romero, also decided to make a contribution.
Romero created a brand new level for the second installment and published it on his website. Access to One Humanity, as the level is named, can be purchased for five euros. The developer assured that one hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross and the UN Central Emergency Response Fund.

Where to buy One Humanity?
You can make the purchase at this page. Once you have paid, you will need to download a package of files in .wad format, containing instructions and all necessary data. To play One Humanity you need to own the original version of Doom 2 and a modern source code (you can check its list here).
Here are some sample screenshots from the new level. It is worth noting that One Humanity is the first level to the second Doom created by John Romero in twenty-eight years. Needless to say, the reaction of the community gathered on Twitter turned out to be very positive.
