Star Wars Jedi: Survivor FPS Boost Thanks to DLSS 3 Mod
While Respawn Entertainment is working on more updates for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players are releasing mods to improve the game's performance.
Electronic Arts has pledged to fix Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as soon as possible. We saw the first results of the team's work yesterday, when the PC version of the game received a patch improving the game's performance (according to users on PCs equipped with RTX 4080, the number of frames per second "jumped" from 60 to 80).
Unfortunately, the aforementioned improvements are just a drop in the ocean of needs in Jedi: Survivor, which is why players who do not intend to wait weeks for the next updates are making the necessary modifications themselves. A perfect example of this is a user by the handle PureDark, who in the past implemented DLSS 3 to Elden Ring.
The developer decided to do the same with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and it looks like the results are remarkably promising. Admittedly the mod is not perfect, because it can result in the appearance of artifacts on the screen, but in the end, on hardware equipped with RTX 40 series GPUs, we see a twofold increase the number of frames per second (state before the implementation of yesterday's patch)..
Below you will see how DLSS 3 affects Electronic Arts' game.
Finally, we remind you that today the update, at this point released on PC, will be available for console versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. You can read more about it here.
