Divine Orb is pricy in PoE 2. How to get it for free
Divine Orbs are getting pricier every day in PoE 2. This is the perfect opportunity to start farming them. Find out how to get them in our guide.
Aside from gold, Path of Exile 2 has another type of currency that affects our character's equipment. It is known as orbs and there are many kinds of it. The most common is the Exalted Orb, however, fans' eyes are currently on another one, and we are talking about the Divine Orb. What is particularly interesting is how much its price goes up over the course of a few days. It is therefore very profitable to farm this item or get it yourself, rather than buy it. In this guide, you will find out how to obtain it.
How to get Divine Orb in Path of Exile 2
The Divine Orb is an item that is also one of several available currencies in the game (another is, for example, the Vaal Orb, which is used to create a corrupted item). It allows you to change the numerical modifier values on weapons or armors. It is highly desirable, especially for those who have reached the endgame. As more people do that, the demand for this item becomes greater.
As of now, the best way to farm this currency is to get to the endgame (with our guide it will become much simpler and faster). Then, clear the maps of enemies, especially magical and rare ones (with names that are highlighted in blue and yellow). These opponents have the best chance of dropping the Divine Orb. However, this is not as easy as it might seem. They are much more difficult to kill, but it is worth the effort as the rewards are also greater and more interesting, especially after the changes developers made to drop rate and rarity of loot.
Of course, this is a random drop that can even appear during the campaign on normal difficulty. A good example is the elite beetle enemy in Act 2. This opponent was used to farm Divine Orb in the past. However, you can no longer profit from it as much as before.
The enemy always appeared at the checkpoint in The Lost City once you disposed of its body with a spell or item that destroyed or consumed it. All you had to do then was select the option to return to the last checkpoint and the enemy would revive in front of your face, allowing you to easily farm this currency. Unfortunately, in the recent 0.1.0e patch, there was mention of a fix for this "bug".
