Discord Will Add Option to Change Avatars and Plan Events
There will be a new option for subscribers on Discord. You will be able to set a different avatar on each server.
As part of Discord Nitro subscription, users will get a new option - the ability to set different avatars on individual servers (so far we could only change the handle). What's more, the creators have announced another option to help organize life on the server. Server Avatars launched September 27 on desktop, with mobile soon to follow.
As reported by The Verge, Discord - in addition to the introduction of the option to change avatars - will also enable us to plan server events.. The aforementioned feature will not be limited by time, which means that the event can be created for example a year in advance. This means that all users of the server will have enough time to join and get to know the details.

We will be able to organize up to 100 events per server, which seems to be a large number even for a place with thousands of users. In addition, created events will be viewable and notifications will be sent before the event starts. The options for scheduling events and changing avatars are expected to be available on Android, iOS and PC. Scheduled Events started rolling out today (9/28) and will be fully available in the next 2 weeks.
