Diablo Immortal Preload Now on PC; Launch Schedule Revealed
Preload of Diablo Immortal on PC has started. We also found out the exact launch time of the game.
NetEase and Blizzard Entertainment revealed additional information about the release of Diablo Immortal, including the game's launch schedule.
- Diablo Immortal will debut on June 2nd at 10 am PT.
- The game will be released simultaneously on PC and iOS and Android mobile devices.
- A preload option is already available for PC owners (via Battle.net), which enables us to download the game before the release. Thanks to this we will be able to start playing right away when Diablo Immortal officially debuts. As our readers report (thanks, Nickim4ru), the downloaded data "weighs" 26.80 GB
- Due to the presence of lootboxes, the game will not be available in Belgium and the Netherlands. This aspect of Diablo Immortal raises a lot of controversy, but the devs defend the implemented microtransactions.
It is worth mentioning that, in contrast to the mobile releases, the PC version will launch as an open beta, so it should be expected that not everything will be perfect yet.
Diablo Immortal will use free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game will offer cross-play option, enabling the owners of different platforms to play together.
On PC you will need a Battle.net account to play. On iOS and Android we'll play without it, but even mobile players will have to create one to be able to transfer game progress between platforms.
