Diablo Immortal With Completely New Character Class
For the first time since 2014, a brand new character class will be added to a Diablo game. The new hero is a hybrid of a human and a vampire.
During the Diablo Developer Update conference, developers from Blizzard revealed a bunch of information related to the newest class in Diablo Immortal. Here is the dark Blood Knight.
Half-man, half-vampire
Blood Knight is created when a mortal bitten by one of a vampire is saved from a terrible transformation using a magical ritual. This leaves him in an uneasy state - between man and beast.
The newly created hybrid is able to tame and use a range of abilities of his new, cursed form. However, the wretch still lives in fear of the darkness and evil hiding inside his soul.
The developers describe Blood Knight as a "a hybrid class" - focused on close combat, but with a range of skills based on blood and the "element" of shadow. The warrior also has the ability to transform into his cursed form, which gives him access to a separate set of skills.
The problem with the new class may be its low mobility, partially compensated, however, by the ability to suck the life energy out of opponents.
Players unconvinced by the new class will have the opportunity to test it in a special mode, which will temporarily change their hero to Blood Knight. The class will hit the game on the occasion of a major update already on July 13.
