Recently, the competition on aRPG / hack’n’slash market got fierce. We have seen successful start of Last Epoch, Path of Exile reaching all time high player count after Settlers of Kalguur expansion, and No Rest For the Wicked is being constantly updated, improving its reviews on Steam after not so fortunate launch in Early Access. Among those titles, there is a series that can be considered a predecessor to all of the previously mentioned ones with its latest instalment – Diablo 4. It’s already been more than a year since its debut and in a few hours Season 5 will start. However, there will be something very interesting regarding the next one – Season 6. Let’s check when the Season of the Infernal Hordes ends, and a new one begins.

Diablo 4 – Season 5 of the Infernal Hordes end date

Even if you haven’t started playing Season of the Infernal Hordes in Diablo 4, you might be interested when it ends, as this date will mark something special. Historically, when one season ended, the new one began the same day. We can expect that this thing will happen with Season 5, too. The date is planned for October 8th, 2024.

That’s not all, as the date will also mark the release of Vessel of Hatred expansion for D4. It is planned to debut alongside Season 6, as confirmed by Rod Fergusson and Brent Gibson in their interview conducted by Windows Central considering a Paladin class in this game. However, instead of this requested by many class, we will receive Spiritborn, offering “sword & board” playstyle.

Diablo is slowly making its way back to the top of aRPG genre. After warmly received Season 4, focusing on revamping loot mechanics, in Season of the Infernal Hordes we will get back down to hell, meeting an old acquaintance on our way there. Seeing how the title develops, it seems like Blizzard still has a lot in store for us. Hopefully they will keep up the good work.
