Live-action Trailer for Diablo 4 Shot by an Oscar Winner

Blizzard has released a live-action trailer for Diablo 4, with Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao behind the camera.

More news about The Witch- I mean Diablo IV. Blizzard has released a live-action trailer of this upcoming game, directed by Chloé Zhao - Oscar winner forNomadland from 2020. The trailer in question - titled Saviors Wanted - is available below.

Collaborating with Kiku Ohe, Zhao showed the world of Sanctuary plagued by Lilith and her demons. Several residents call for help, turning directly to the camera, and thus to the viewer. To their rescue come the characters that playable characters of Diablo IV. One by one we see a rogue, a sorceress, a necromancer, a druid and a barbarian fighting - played by real actors.

The trailer is obviously meant to encourage us to follow in their footsteps and challenge Lilith as early as June 6, when Diablo IV will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. Well, unless you preorder the Deluxe or Ultimate edition of the game - in which case you'll be heading to Sanctuary four days early.

"When working with Blizzard, we had a great opportunity to bring to life the dark, exciting and impactful world of Diablo IV," said Zhao. "Fans of the brand are passionate, and many of them are with the series for more than two decades. We wanted [...] to convey the strong emotions that players feel when immersing themselves in this universe."
