- Overloaded servers prevent many fans from starting the game;
- The title also has a problem with saving the game.
From the beginning it was known that the launch of Diablo 2: Resurrected would be a big event. The release of the refreshed version of the iconic hack'n'slash game attracted crowds of players, which turned out to be a serious endurance test for the game's servers. Unfortunately, we already know that they did not pass this tough test. The web is full of complaints of fans who are unable to start the game.
Especially many negative statements were posted on Reddit. A special thread was opened on the popular forum, in which the players can report encountered problems. The vast majority of them concern servers that do prevent them to enjoy the game.
Many people were even unable to launch the game. All attempts to start the game end for them only with a string of messages that informed them about connection problems. Many players also report endless loading screens.
Those who managed to launch the game, can not necessarily consider themselves lucky. Some were kicked out of the title right after the start, while others suffered an even worse fate. It turns out that Diablo 2: Resurrected currently has major problems with saving game states. Fans who left the game after some time or were kicked out of it discovered upon returning that all their character's progress had been erased.
Even more annoying is the fact that many players are unable to create a new character, effectively making the game impossible to play. The problem has become so widespread that other lucky people who managed to start the adventure, prefer to wait before they continue the game. They are afraid that their saves will be wiped as well, and don't want to risk wasting several hours of "leveling up" their characters.
Keep in mind, that this is the release day of a game that countless players have been waiting for. Probably with time the situation will stabilize and fans will be able to play without major problems. Nevertheless, currently Diablo 2: Resurrected causes frustration for many people. It certainly won't help the image of Blizzard Entertainment, which has been repeatedly damaged in recent times.
