Microsoft Tempers Expectations Before Upcoming Game Show
Microsoft is trying to tone down our enthusiasm about the upcoming Developer Direct show. We can expect to see nothing more than what has already been announced.
The Developer_Direct show will take place today, where Microsoft and Bethesda will show us novelties from their upcoming games. Meanwhile, representatives of the Redmond giant are trying to temper our enthusiasm and insist that at the presentation we won't see anything beyond what was previously announced.
The deputy director of marketing at Xbox Games, Aaron Greenberg, announced that tomorrow's show is expected to last about 43 minutes. He also stressed that the company was keen to describe exactly what would be included at Developer_Direct. Therefore, in a post published by Microsoft two weeks ago we received detailed information on the four games to be demonstrated. Thus, it is a clear signal that we shouldn't expect any surprises.
As a reminder: at the presentation we will see gameplays from Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and Redfall, and finally there will be an announcement of novelties heading to The Elder Scrolls Online.
Developer_Direct will be available to watch via Twitch and YouTube. The event will start on January 25 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm GMT. Those waiting for Starfield on the other hand, will have to arm themselves with some patience, as the upcoming space sandbox will receive a separate show at a slightly later date.
