Detroit: Become Human is Now Quantic Dream's Best Selling Game
French studio Quantic Dream boasted that it sold a total of 6 million copies of Detroit: Become Human on PlayStation consoles and PC. Thanks to this, the title became the biggest hit in the developer's catalogue.
Present for over twenty years on the market, Quantic Dream has been trying to blur the line between cinema and adventure games, as well as (as hateful gamers claim) fulfilling the movie-directing inclinations of its founder, David Cage. Despite a lot of criticism aimed at the developer, his signature titles enjoy steady popularity and regularly hit the bestseller lists. French developers have just boasted that their latest work, Detroit: Become Human, has sold more than six million copies, becoming Quantic Dream's biggest-ever hit..
Let's add that Detroit: Become Human was originally released exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2018. A dozen months later, the title appeared in Epic Games Store. On Steam the game appeared only in June 2020, but immediately became a bestseller. The decision to present the game to a wider audience on PCs was therefore the right one. At a similar time, the developer has already managed to port its earlier works (Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls), which were previously available only on Sony consoles, to this platform.
