Destiny 2 Offers Kratos Armor and Other PlayStation Goodies as Part of Season of the Deep
The Season of the Deep has launched in Destiny 2. In addition to new challenges and dungeon, it includes cosmetic items inspired by popular PlayStation brands.
Destiny 2 players have reason to rejoice, as the game's latest update features PlayStation-inspired cosmetic items. Interestingly, the items are available not only on consoles from this family, but also on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
One of the most interesting objects is the Spirit named Clicker, which is a reference to the popular The Last of Us. Another cosmetic item is an armor inspired by the armor of Kratos, the protagonist of God of War.
It makes sense to organize such attractions, since last year Sony bought out Bungie, paying $3.6 billion for it. However, the new owner of the team does not intend to block the development of the studio's Xbox game. Instead, thanks to such actions, it can promote its brands on competitors' consoles.
PlayStation-inspired items are part of the just launched Season of the Deep in Destiny 2. It represents the next stage of the main story. This time, players will explore the secrets of the Golden Age by diving into the methane seas of Titan. The season offers new activities, an additional dungeon, new weapons and season armor, as well as some minor surprises.
Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online shooter. The latest paid DLC, Lightfall, made its debut on February 28. The DLC is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
