Weapon descriptions
Stormchaser
Fusion Rifle Stormchaser doesn't seem like a very desirable weapon at first glance, but what sets it apart from other weapons of this type, such as Reed's Regret and Threaded Needle, is that it fires in three-round bursts, giving it a high DPS, especially when reloading quickly.
New Purpose
New Purpose is a high-powered pulse rifle, meaning it is slow firing and deals a lot of damage. This weapon is more accurate when the player is standing still. New Purpose, like some of the new weapons in the dungeon, has the Bittersprite trait. When the weapon is equipped, receiving damage speeds up its reload.
Lingering Dread
The only grenade launcher on the list. The weapon offers high damage and long time between shots. The weapon unlocks Stasis synergy, which no other grenade launcher with special ammo has. Lingering Dread is great for long farming in Duality Dungeon.
Unforgiven
Unforgiven competes with the Funnelweb for the title of favorite machine gun among the players, but it has several key features that make it a tempting replacement. Compared to the Funnelweb's lightweight frame, it's an aggressive frame, giving it a slower rate of fire and making it good for medium range combat.
Fixed Odds
Most of the weapons first introduced in Destiny 2 Menagerie returned as part of seasonal activities, but Fixed Odds is one of two that make their way through the Duality Dungeon. The weapon offers an average reload time, high damage, and performs well at both medium and longer ranges.
The Epicurean
The Epicurean has never been a particularly popular weapon, but with the recent fusion rifle updates, it has a chance to shine in its new form. Precision-framed fusion rifles like the Main Ingredient have been a favorite choice of many players, and The Epicurean also finally has the opportunity to become a more desirable weapon.
Heartshadow
Exotic swords are rare compared to other exotic weapons and are often the object of players' desire. It seems that the case of Heartshadow will be no different. Heavy attacks made with sword's full energy render the user invisible, and staying invisible for a long time causes Heartshadow to receive increased damage for a short period of time. The weapon's heavy attack fires exploding projectiles of Void, and if the target is hit by these projectiles while the damage bonus is active, they will also be weakened.
