Description of Artificer in Rain World
The Artificer is one of the creatures added to Rain World in the Downpour DLC. Thanks to this guide, you will learn more about it.
Rain World is a very interesting 2D platformer, which was created by two people - programmer Joar Jakobsson and composer James Primate. In the game, we take on the role of a character called Slugcat and traverse dangerous mazes, dealing with enemies and using a variety of skills that each playable creature has. In this guide you will learn what an Artificer is..
Artificer in Rain World
Artificer is one of five creatures that were added to Rain World in a DLC called Downpour. Its initial location is Garbage Waste and it has some very useful mechanics that make the gameplay easier. One of them is the ability to launch otself into the air with a controlled explosion. With this ability you can also deflect projectiles. Arficer can also turn ordinary spears and garbage into explosives. However, this costs food pips. This will enable you to deal with your opponents better. While holding the corpses of Scavengers, Artificer temporarily increases his Karma. It is needed to move between regions, as some gates require a specific level of Karma.
The creature also has its weaknesses. It can only swim for five seconds. If the Artificer uses explosions too often to increase its jumping range, it can suffer a stun. Artificer requires as many as six food pips to hibernate, while three such pips can be retained for the next cycle.
Summary of Artificer in Rain World
This creature is an excellent choice for anyone who prefers brute-force solutions. Artificer excels in combat, and it's no wonder that it is one of the most interesting characters implemented in Rain World with the Downpour DLC.
