Best Upgrades to Pick in Deep Rock Galactic (DRG) Survivor
In Deep Rock Galactic Survivor you have access to two types of upgrades:
- Temporary, which work only during the ongoing run. You unlock them for collected EXP. For each level you reach, you must choose one of three random cards. These may include stat or weapon bonuses.
- Permanent, which can be unlocked between runs. You will pay for them with gathered resources. They allow you to improve the stats of all your characters.
Of course, some bonuses are noticeably more useful than others. You should especially focus on the stats that allows you deal more damage and progress characters to next levels faster.
Damage
In Deep Rock Galactic Survivor you should invest in the damage upgrades in the first place. Thanks to this, you will be able to eliminate enemies easier. There is a permanent upgrade called Heavy Bullets that allows you to increase the amount of damage dealt.
Pickup Radius
Pickup Radius allows you to gather loot from a larger area. This way you can pick up EXP and level up faster. The skill you are looking for between runs is called Pocket Magnets.
XP Gain
Skills that allow you to gain more experience points will also be helpful during gameplay. Thanks to them you will unlock new weapons and upgrades faster. Fast Learner allows you to permanently increase the amount of EXP you collect.
Mining Speed
Mining is very important mechanics. When you dig, you can find precious materials that help you during the game. In addition, you can use tunnels you have dug to control your opponents. Skill named Mining 101, therefore, is a good choice to improve between runs.
