Death Stranding: Director's Cut is Coming to PC

It looks like PC owners will also get to play Death Stranding: Director's Cut. The information was confirmed by a leaked Intel announcement.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Intel's announcement planned for CES 2022 has been leaked;
  • It reveals that Death Stranding: Director's Cut is coming to PC;
  • So far we don't know when the game will actually debut on PC.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut has been available on the PlayStation 5 console for several months now. This version is not available on PC. Fortunately, it will soon change, as we learned thanks to a leaked Intel announcement.

The aforementioned announcement was discovered by the editorial staff of VideoCardz. The news is related to the technology show CES 2022 (which were to be held on January 5-7). Despite the cancelation of the event, Intel is expected to announce something at this date, including the start of deliveries of new Arc chips for OEM customers. They will offer support for improved ray tracing and AI-based Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) technology.

The latter novelty is currently being integrated into a number of popular games. One of them is to be the aforementioned Death Stranding: Director's Cut. The game will also be optimized for 12th-gen Intel Core processors. So it looks like PC owners will also be able to play the expanded version of Hideo Kojima's title.

Unfortunately, it was not revealed when we can expect the game's release on PC. We can only wait patiently for further announcements. Information about the novelties offered by Director's Cut can be found here.
