After creation of Steam, Valve has become less prominent as a publisher and developer. Of course, many players would like to see more games from this company, as their productions are well remembered by fans and are quite iconic like Half Life, Portal or Left 4 Dead (not to mention giants like Counter Strike or Dota). So, no wonder that each game from the studio generates hype, a good example is Alyx. Nowadays, gamers are waiting for Deadlock, a new MOBA. Without a doubt it will be available on PC, more precisely on Steam, but what about other platforms, like consoles? Let’s talk about it.

Deadlock (Valve) – PS5 and PS4 Release

If we look at the history of Valve and its games, it is quite obvious that they do not cooperate with PlayStation often. Among many titles created by the studio, only Counter Strike Global Offensive was published on Sony platform (PS3 to be precise). It means that it is highly unlikely that something will change, and we do not expect the release of Deadlock on PS5 or PS4. However, let’s remember that times are changing, and we can’t be sure of anything. It is possible that Valve will want to attract more players to the new game. We have to wait.

Deadlock (Valve) – Xbox Series X/S Release

As in the case of PlayStation, lately Valve does not cooperate well with Microsoft console. However, it used to be different, especially during Xbox 360 era, as many games from Gabe Newell and his team were released on this platform. Sadly, times have changed, and the partnership seems to be over. So, the chances of Deadlock being published on Xbox Series X/S are also small in this case, too. However, we have to wait for official information because nothing is certain.
