Days Gone Remastered is set to take full advantage of PlayStation 5's capabilities. Sony shared some details
The Days Gone remaster will offer quite a few improvements with the capabilities of the PlayStation 5. Besides, better graphics, players will receive new modes of play.

Days Gone is another relatively fresh game from Sony's library, which will get a remaster. We learned the details of the remaster announced yesterday thanks to a post published on the official PlayStation blog.
Price and bonuses for preorder
The game will cost $49.99. Owners of the original game will be able to get an upgrade to the remaster for 10 dollars. For PC, this will involve buying the Broken Road DLC at that price.
The option to place pre-orders is expected to appear later today and - as usual - such a purchase will provide some digital bonuses. In this case, it will be 8 avatars on PSN (potentially on Steam as well, but currently only confirmed for Sony's platform) and several helpful items to start the game.
New content for tough guys
Usually, the main attraction of a remaster is the refreshed visual setting, and Days Gone is also getting a visual lift. The graphics will have more detail, the lighting and shadows will improve, and the game will use VRR and Tempest 3D technologies. On consoles, there will be two modes to choose from - depending on whether we care more about the smoothness of the animation or the detail of the graphics.
This will be due to the transition to the PS5 console, featuring support for the Dual Sense controller and the PlayStation 5 Pro, as the game will take advantage of the extra power of Sony's latest device.
Days Gone Remastered will also include 3 new game modes, designed for those looking for a challenge - or who like to go breakneck speed. This last thing will be necessary when playing Speedrun. This gameplay mode, as the name suggests, demands the campaign be finished as fast as possible.
Different challenges will offer Permadeath and Horde Assault modes. The first one doesn't require explanation (in short: death means the end of the game), and the second one is a variation of the horde mode: the player will face a horde of zombies, whose attacks will intensify over time. The goal will be simple: survive as long as possible to score as many points as possible.
All these modes are set to receive their own trophies/achievements to earn. Besides, an expanded photography mode with additional options, including setting the time of day, was also confirmed.
Days Gone: Remastered will be released on April 25th on PS5 (the mentioned DLC for the PC version will be released on the same day).
