Dungeon Crawler Dark and Darker Gets Another Playtest; Schedule Revealed
The developers of Dark and Darker have conducted their most successful playtest to date, collected a large amount of data and are planning another playtest before the game goes into Early Access. We know when it will take place.
Developers of Dark and Darker have announced on Discord, that the recently conducted playtest was the most successful to date. In a statement, they thanked all participants, saying that they collected a large amount of data, which they are currently processing. The team promises to share the interesting findings with fans once they have had a moment to breathe.
The action provided valuable insights into the game's development and prompted the team to schedule another open playtest before the game goes into Early Access. The next such event is scheduled for April 14-19. The developers hope to test some pretty significant changes and innovations during this playtest, which require a bit more attention and time than solutions implemented in the past.
While the rather long gap between tests may be disappointing for the fans, the team is working hard to make sure that the April playtest will be even better than previous ones. They are grateful for the fan support and promise to keep them updated on the game's progress.
Dark and Darker is a highly anticipated dungeon crawler. The title is heading exclusively for PC. Korean studio IRONMACE is responsible for the project. The devs have already organized several tests (including in September, December and February), which enjoyed great interest. Recently, the game was attacked by hackers, and shortly thereafter the creators were accused of stealing graphic assets. The devs debunked these rumors.
Dark and Darker should debut on Steam Early Access in late April or early May, this year. The release of the full version is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.
