Cyberpunk 2077 Review Average on Steam Going Down

Cyberpunk 2077 is slowly exhausting the patience of Steam users. Reviews from the last 30 days have fallen so low that the game's rating for this period has dropped to „mixed”.

Although Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely not one of the biggest disasters in gaming history, for many players the title turned out to be a big disappointment. This mainly applied to the console version, but PC owners are also fed up with waiting for major improvements. It is enough to take look at Cyberpunk 2077's reviews on Steamover the past month, only 69% of which are positive. As a result, the game's score for the past 30 days has dropped from "mostly positive" to "mixed." The overall score is still better, consistently remaining at 78% of favorable reviews.

As before, the feedback of Steam users can be summed up briefly: "Cyberpunk 2077 is RAW". Some nevertheless praise their adventure with the game, others are far from showing enthusiasm. However, almost everyone points to one or another of the game's shortcomings, even in positive reviews. Problems with completing missions or general stability issues, lack of important information - such mentions are a common bread when reading player opinions on Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam.

Of course, these problems are nothing new, but there is a reason why only in the last 30 days Cyberpunk 2077 has received "mixed" reviews. It's about the lack of major updates with fixes that were supposed to arrive by the end of February. Unfortunately, a week ago CD Projekt announced the delay of patch 1.2, partly due to the February ransomware attack which, according to Jason Schreier, interrupted work on Cyberpunk 2077 updates for two weeks. Still, even with that excuse, it's hardly surprising that players' patience - already strained after almost three months of waiting after launch - may have run out. Patch 1.2 isn't due out until the second half of March, and few believe it will remove even half of the bugs plaguing the game.
