Nearly two months have passed since the release of the latest patch for Cyberpunk 2077, which of course didn't eliminate all the bugs that plagued CD Projekt RED's latest work. That's why the Polish team is constantly working on new updates and, according to their assurances, won't stop until the title is brought to the condition that was promised. The next step on this road is today's update. It is numbered 1.23 and "weighs" 30.2 GB on Xbox consoles and 35.04 GB on PlayStaton. As for the PC version, the size varies depending on the store.
Patch 1.23 introduces a number of fixes. A large part of them concerns the elimination of bugs in tasks and side activities. Also bugs related to the fight with Adam Smasher, the operation of Cyberware Cataresist, too much damage caused by falling bodies, or NPCs limping when you kill them while trying to steal a car have been fixed.
In addition, the developers have taken care to improve certain visual elements of the title, such as Johnny's appearance in certain missions, clothing on NPCs and rocks in Badlands. In addition, a number of performance and stability improvements have been introduced to the game, including CPU, memory and I/O usage.
All of the above improvements apply to every version of Cyberpunk 2077. PC and Xbox, however, received some individual improvements. For the former platform, the devs eliminated bugs appearing at 1280x720 resolution and after using the Alt+Enter combination on Steam. In addition, a message was introduced asking to check the integrity of the data if necessary. As far as Microsoft consoles are concerned, the devs fixed bugs that could lead to a partial lack of response from the game after logging out during the stage fadeout and the pause menu would open automatically after quickly switching off the Xbox guide and the pause menu.
