The release of Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed once again. The game will not launch until November, and the reason for this decision is the desire to polish the game.

We'll wait a little longer for Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt RED informed that Cyberpunk 2077 will not launch as planned on September 17, 2020. Fortunately, the "slip" is not as big as the previous one and the game's new release date is November 19.

As the devs write in an official announcement published on Twitter, the reason for this decision is the desire to deliver a game that will "stay with you for years to come". The developers have apologized to the players and ensure that at the time of publication of this news, their work is complete both in terms of content and gameplay. All its elements, such as tasks, cut-scenes, equipment, and character skills, are already in place. However, the devs have to make an effort to balance the individual elements and fix all the bugs, which is all the more difficult because "a huge world means a huge number of things" to iron out.
