Cyberpunk 2077 - Clothes and Cyberware Visual Bug Fix
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is experiencing bugs post launch, and one them is a clothes and cyberware visual glitch. Check out what to do if your customization isn’t displaying properly in Cyberpunk 2077 DLC.
Following the launch of the long awaited Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC, many players are reporting visual bugs related to clothes and cyberware. Implants and pieces of clothing are not being removed properly from characters, even after the item is no longer equipped or in the inventory. Below, we have compiled what is currently known about the glitch.
Cyberpunk 2077 - Clothes and Cyberware Visual Bug – Possible Fixes
Cyberpunk 2077 players looking to update their appearance for the Phantom Liberty DLC have run into a serious issue. The glitch affects both clothes and cyberware, and makes it so once you equip items to your character, those pieces stay on even if you remove them from your character, put them in your storage, or even sell them.
This bug has been reported to affect mainly old save files created before the launch of the DLC but not only. If you don’t want to lose your progress and start a new game, there are some things you can try:
- To change how your clothing is displayed, fill up all your equipment slots and then click Unequip from the menu to take all your clothes off.
- Alternatively, go to your apartment and take a shower, as that should cause your appearance to update. However, this has been reported not to work for some players.
The glitch appears to be more persistent affecting cyberware, which is harder to take off than clothes. We recommend starting a new save file for the sake of stability until this issue is resolved by the developers, as players who have started over are experiencing less bugs overall.
