Cyberpunk 2077, BioShock, Borderlands Devs Working on Quirky Open-world Shooter
Antistatic studio, whose core consists of developers who have worked in the past on AAA titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, BioShock and Borderlands, has revealed its debut project, which is an exciting open-world shooter.
Antistatic Studio, comprising developers from Cyberpunk 2077, the Bioshock series, and Bordelands, has revealed its first project - a game with the working titled Hornet.
The first, highly mysterious - and rather unsettling - gameplay trailer for the game (watch below) has been released online. The video was captured using the fan footage technique, with a camera attached to the uniform of the person filming.
Project Hornet is described as a cooperative shooter with horror elements, where players take on the role of a field agent working for an organization called Mortfiel Industries.
Furthermore, the official website of Antistatic studio indicates that the game will feature an open world filled with dynamic events, aiming to blend "an immersive simulation with the best experience of survival games."
Players' mission in Hornet will be to "search and contain any paranormal activity by any means necessary while operating under the adverse conditions of the post-nuclear European continent."
The attached video and game description may remind you of the STALKER series or the recently released early access game Lethal Company.
