Warhammer 40K Darktide immerses you in the dystopian world of the 41st millennium. This 4-player co-op FPS game transports you to the hive city Tertium, where you and your friends must confront waves of formidable adversaries. The title is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Because of its multiplatform nature, many players are wondering if it supports cross progression and cross save. Let’s find out.
Cross save and cross progression in Warhammer 40K Darktide
When it comes to games available on multiple platforms, there's often a query regarding the inclusion of cross-save and cross-progression capabilities. This allows players the convenience of playing on various devices while using the same account, eliminating the need to begin anew each time.
Sadly, Darktide at the moment has no such option. Pach 11 has brought a crossplay to the title, and with it, Fatshark published crossplay FAQ. We can read there that:
Is My Progression Shared Between Platforms?
- On Steam, progression will remain limited to Steam only.
- On Xbox Live, your progression is shared between Xbox Series X|S and Microsoft Store.
As you can see, at least for a while, there will be no cross progression. We can only hope that it will change in the future.
