Crash Bandicoot: On the Run Shows the Power of the Mobile Market

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! has recorded the best launch of all the games in King's catalogue. The title, which debuted in late March, has already been downloaded more than 37 million times.

Activision can be pleased with the result achieved by Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! The title, which debuted in late March on smartphones, earned more than $700,000 during the first week.

According to Sensor Tower, a company which provides analyses of the mobile market, the mobile Crash was downloaded 23.6 million times within a few days of its release, which took place on 25 March (iOS). In the following two weeks, the game did not lose popularity and reached 37.5 million downloads on both platforms (result from April 14, 2021).

With this result, Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! boasts the best debut of all games in King's portfolio, second only to Candy Crush Jelly Saga, which earned $1.5 million in its first week but recorded half as many downloads.
