Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty's Playable Version at Gamescom
The August gamescom fair promises to be really interesting. There will be a lot of goodies from Microsoft for event attendees, the company bringing playable versions of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and STALKER 2 to Cologne, among other things.
The classic formula of game fairs seems to be slowly fading away. This has been proven by the organizers of E3, who have abandoned this year's event. As a consolation, we are left with gamescom, which is held every year during the summer holiday season in Cologne, Germany.
During the several days of the event, major developers from around the world share materials and information about their productions. Visitors to the event have a chance not only to learn about important industry announcements, but also to try out upcoming titles.
This year's edition of the European gaming fest promises to be particularly attractive due to Microsoft's confirmed presence at the show.
"We’re excited to meet Xbox players at gamescom in Cologne, Germany this August, with fan experiences that are bigger and better than ever!," reads an excerpt from the announcement on the Xbox website.
Exclusive demonstrations
From the information Microsoft provided, gamescom will feature exclusive demonstrations of games such as Starfield, Forza Motorsport and Ara: History Untold. What's more, players will be able to try out the action RPG Towerborne for the first time and see the latest content for The Elder Scrolls Online and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Playable versions
The company also announced that more than 25 third-party partner titles will be ready for the event. Among them there will be playable versions of STALKER 2 and the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC. Here are some selected productions:

ID@Xbox's 10th anniversary
This year's gamescom will also celebrate the round tenth anniversary of the ID@Xbox program. In connection with this, in the dedicated zone you will be able to play, among others:

The gamescom 2023 trade show will take place from August 23-27. For those who will not be able to be present at the event, Microsoft will prepare a special series of broadcasts from the Xbox booth. They will be available to follow on the company's channels on YouTube, Twitch and social networks such as Facebook.
