Control's Next-gen Update Delayed
Remedy Entertainment has announced the delay of Control's release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The title will be released on next-generation platforms only next year.
The ninth generation consoles are just around the corner. Of course, they will bring new games, but also next-generation updates for already released titles, such as Control. Unfortunately, this particular game will wait for the improvements a little bit longer than we thought. Remedy Entertainment has announced the delay of Control: Ultimate Edition's launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S to early 2021. Originally, it was to be released during the holiday season.
The decision to postpone the launch is certainly not a joy for gamers. Another thing is that fans still seem to be engrossed in the confusion surrounding the Ultimate Edition, the only one that allows for a free next-gen upgrade. Many still hold grudge about 505 Games' slip from September that questioned the team's excuse for not being able to upgrade the original editions of Control for free.
